It provides 131 rounded-edge pcs for enjoyable and safe building. As for the controller, this kit uses an integrated one with built-in motors, LED, and speaker. The controller also has two ports for adding external motors.

Compared with A7, this one provides more flexible coding and control options. C3 Pro provides a smart panel and a set of magnetic coding cards for kids to control their robot. The smart panel supports two modes: remote control and coding. In the remote control mode, kids can press the buttons on the right side of the panel for control. When using the coding mode, they can put the magnetic coding cards into the slots of the smart panel, and after the panel pairs with the controller, the controller can read the program built from the cards.

In total, there’re five types of coding cards and are marked with color by category. The green ones are number cards, which can be used as parameter values. The red ones are for motion control. The purple ones are for sound playing, the gray ones are for light, and the yellow one helps specify duration.

E7 Pro

This kit is designed for 8+ years old who have some kind of coding robotic experience. It provides 602 pcs of parts—so many that kids can build almost anything they want! The sample projects designed for this kit are really cool, including a little T-Rex waving its claws, a little penguin giggling with smiley eyes, and some tank-like robotic cars. For instance, the 5-in-1 grayscale sensor allows the robot to follow black lines to a specified destination. The two dot-matrix displays work as the eyes of the robot, and can show different kinds of expressions and patterns.

The coding methods for this kit is more flexible. Kids can use a coding software where they drag and drop some coding modules to finish programming. Also, they can use the “WhalesScratch” software where they can use Scratch, C, or Python to build a program. While using Scratch to build a program on the canvas, kids can view the C or Python in the right-side panel in real time.

Rocky

Tired of these LEGO-like snap-fit plastic robots? Well, we have a new product called “Rocky”. This cool robotic car is made from alloy, and has a modern shiny look. It has an integrated controller and an integrated chassis, so even if screws are needed, the whole car is easy to assemble. The car is compatible with the whole WhalesBot series, so kids can add different parts on it to build their very own model.

The car supports three modes: remote control, line following, and obstacle avoidance. Push or pull the joysticks on the remote control, and the car will move around. Start the line following mode, the grayscale sensor will be ready to tell the color of the ground, and the car will follow black lines to somewhere. The car also has an ultrasonic sensor, so when the obstacle avoidance mode is on, the car will detect if there’s something ahead, and will automatically bypass the obstacle.

As for coding, this car supports WhalesBot’s coding APP and software. Kids can use the graphic modular coding on the APP, and can also use Scratch, C, and Python in the all-in-one coding software. This is especially helpful for those who want to learn intermediate coding logic, like loops, conditional statements, or nested structures.
